It is used to butt weld different and various plastic materials for scientific R&D activities. Sample Holders, Hot Plates block move by pneumatic actuating cylinders.

Two different modes of heating can be applied to the samples before welding:

• Direct contact to hot plate heating
• Contactless heating through the radiation from the hot plate.

The temperature of each hot plate can be adjusted separately up to Max 270° C (if necessary it can be increased up to 350° C).

Measurable and controllable parameters: heating time, heating temperature, heating distance, welding time and the welding pressure.
